Parents,

I write to you as a parent myself, someone who understands the overwhelming feeling of deciding what is best for my child. This can be particularly true when choosing which SAT preparation program in which to invest. With so many varying programs out there, it is quite the challenge to decide which program to choose and which is within your financial means. With this in mind, my goal is to show you how my SAT tutoring differs from other programs.

Over the past twenty two years, I have dedicated myself to teaching young minds. Whether at the high school level or the elementary, I’ve found that boys and girls alike excel only when motivated. Small group tutoring is one of the most effective ways to increase your child's SAT scores with proven studies showing that students are more motivated when tutoring with a group of their own peers. Private one to one SAT tutors provide your child with undivided attention; however, the session is more likely to be undermined by a lack of intrinsic motivation by the student and possibly even boredom, resulting in more absences from the sessions and as a result, a lack of increase in scores. Moreover, classroom settings rarely, if ever, have lessons geared towards the student's particular strengths and weaknesses. Large classroom settings are also a magnet for distractions and lack of accountability, also contributing to a lack of increase in scores. Without a doubt, my program’s teacher to student ratio, with no group larger than six students, is a select service, customized and individualized for that particular group of students.

With my program, my focus will be based solely on specific needs. As such, please take note that my program is highly individualized, offers in depth tutoring, and allows your child to study with a tutor from the ease and comfort of a home, reducing added stress from environmental factors.

I gladly invite you to learn more about my SAT tutoring program, and I welcome the opportunity to serve your family in this season of test preparation.

Sincerely,

    Giselle Fernandez
